This page lists everything Skemura records about you and your devices, why it is recorded and how long it is kept. Using the service means you accept it. Questions: [email protected].

1. Your account

• Name, email address, mobile number and country that you enter when you sign up.
• Your password, stored only as a one-way hash - nobody at Skemura can read it.
• Plans and codes: the activation codes you redeem, when your plan ends, and for resellers the codes bought, the balance and the payment details you give us.
• Messages you send to support, and the emails we send you (for example login codes).

2. Your devices and connection

To keep every account personal and to stop the same person from creating account after account, we record the following each time you sign up or log in:

• Internet (IP) address of your connection.
• A device cookie: a random number stored in your browser for two years, so we recognise the same browser when it comes back.
• Device and browser characteristics: operating system, browser, screen size and pixel density, time zone, language, number of processor cores, memory size, touch support and the model of the graphics chip. Together these form a device fingerprint that recognises the same computer or phone even in a private window or after cookies are cleared.
• The list of devices your account is used on, when each first logged in and when it was last seen.

These records are used to enforce the rules in the terms of use: one new account per device in 7 days, the number of devices each account may be used on, and the daily allowance of free accounts. An admin can see which accounts were created on the same device.

What we do not collect: a web page cannot read your device's MAC address, serial numbers, contacts, photos, files or precise GPS location, and Skemura does not try to. We do not use your camera or microphone.

3. How you use the diagrams

• Which models and files you open, and when - to count the free allowance and the paid hourly limit.
• How the viewer is used - to detect automated copying of the library. Accounts that show unusual activity can be suspended automatically; an admin reviews every case and you can write to support.
• A watermark with your account number and the date is drawn over every diagram you view, so a copied picture can be traced to the account it came from.

4. Why we use it

• To run the service: log you in, show your plan, open the files you are entitled to.
• To enforce limits and the terms: account, device and daily limits, and plan rules.
• To protect the library and your account: detect abuse, shared or stolen logins and automated copying, and alert you to a login from a new device.
• To answer support requests and send the emails the service needs.

We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.

5. Who else handles it

• Cloudflare carries traffic to the site and filters attacks, so it sees your IP address and the pages you request.
• Our hosting provider runs the server where the data is stored.
• Authorities, only when the law requires it.

6. How long it is kept

• Account details, plans, codes and the devices list: while the account exists.
• Records of files opened: 180 days. Records of viewer activity: 30 days.
• Security events (logins, suspensions): 2 years. Login codes: deleted a day after they expire.
• The device cookie stays in your browser for 2 years unless you clear it.

7. Cookies and browser storage

• A session cookie keeps you logged in until you close the browser.
• The device cookie described above.
• Local storage for your own settings: theme, viewer menu, and your email address if you tick "Remember".

There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

8. Your choices

• Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or the deletion of your account by writing to [email protected] from the email address of the account.
• Deleting the account removes your personal details. Records needed to stop abuse (for example that a device was already used to create an account) may be kept for the periods above.

9. Security

Connections are encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are hashed, diagram files are stored encrypted, and team accounts use two-step login. No system is perfect; if something goes wrong that affects your data, we will tell you.

10. Age

Skemura is a professional tool and is not meant for children under 16.

11. Changes

This policy may change as the service changes. The date at the top shows the current version; continued use after a change means you accept it.
